this is my favourite version you cant stop me
THIS IS GREAT BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT WOULD IT WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY SOUNDED LIKE FROM LIKE— ELSE’A PERSPECTIVE OR SOME TINY UNNOTICEABLE FAIRY THAT MAKES NO SOUND
REMEMBER, WHEN DISNEY CHARACTERS BURST OUT INTO SONG THEY DONT HEAR THE MUSIC, JUST THEM AND WHATS HAPPENING AROUND THEM
AND THIS REALLY PUTS INTO PERSPECTIVE JUST HOW
fucking weird these assholes are i mean like seriously what the fuck
okay, this is the second or third time I’ve seen this on my dash, and basically what I have to say to this is fuck your music-hating selves
you joyless, sorry piles of spite who constantly bitch about people bursting into song as if it’s a horrible problem
I’m sorry that you can’t appreciate the joy of music, but I really don’t fucking care if you think it’s unrealistic for people to sing (or even for, gasp, groups of people who are musically inclined to start making music together out of nowhere to entertain themselves or to express themslves)
What’s actually unrealistic is your asinine expectation that the entire world will cynically bow to your viewpoint on the matter
I don’t care if you don’t like singing or music, but this shitty attitude crushes the artistic desire to express oneself in other people— same goes for mocking people who do poetry, mocking people who like to do acting in theater, mocking people who like to dance, mocking people who like to do pretty much any hobby, basically
if you have such a problem with the idea that someone in a fucking fantasy setting might express themselves through song, then you are unsalvageably bitter and I am frankly just sorry for you because you’re missing the fuck out
being able to express oneself without worrying about whether other people think you’re weird or not takes a lot of courage, and all I see in these endless comments about how “weird” it is? jealousy that you don’t feel comfortable enough to do the same.
that said, it takes a lot of artistic talent to arrange music and perform it that is taken completely for granted by people who don’t pursue that skill, and I’m tired of it being downplayed.
